Amanda Most, Oscaline Usanase, and Savannah Gerlach are fellows for the Rural Futures Institute. These Nebraska college students are spending the summer working and living in Wahoo on a community engagement project.
The institute strives to “catalyze change, implement strategies and develop inclusive leadership skills” throughout small towns in Nebraska. Here in Wahoo, the team’s focus is civic engagement and communications.
