Omaha chef and owner of Feeding Royals Wes Zollicoffer sautés bacon at the Revive Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Zollicoffer’s passion for cooking began when he was young. Growing up, he would cook and bake with his mom, which allowed them to connect with one another. Today, he said he aims to create that same connection with his kids. For North Omaha native and chef Wes Zollicoffer and his wife, Candy, food isn’t just an aspect of their business, Feeding Royals, a private service where chefs prepare and serve meals inside customers’ homes. Food is a means of connection for the two of them. It gives them the opportunity to reminisce about family memories in the kitchen and create new ones with their children. Now, they’re using Feeding Royals to provide people in the Omaha community with the chance to make their own.
