The week is held twice a year. Once from Feb. 27-March 3 and the other from Oct. 2-6. The goal is to teach high school students about career opportunities in agronomy.

At Lincoln Northeast High School, the University of Nebraska Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources along with the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture visited the school on February 27-28.
