UNL’s Spring 2021 graduation will be in person for the first time since December 2019. The announcement was welcome news for many graduating seniors and their families.

Tessa Weddle, a senior from Bellevue, and Brian Reetz, father of Bret Reetz from Lincoln, share their excitement for the ceremony.

Undergraduate commencement will be held at Memorial Stadium on May 8 in two sections. Graduates from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, College of Architecture, College of Business, Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, College of Journalism and Mass Communications and College of Public Affairs and Community Service will graduate during the morning ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. Graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Human Sciences and College of Engineering will graduate in the afternoon ceremony beginning at 4 p.m.

Graduate commencement will be held on Friday, May 7 at 9 a.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
