YMCAs across Nebraska have started a new esports league. The competitive gaming league encourages children to cultivate skills like teamwork, leadership, online safety and individual growth.

Todd Johnson, executive director of YMCA youth sports in Lincoln, and Bailie Meissner, youth sports director at the Southwest YMCA in Omaha, discuss the new program.
