Former Nebraska running back Maurice Washington has been found by Lincoln Police after a missing person report was filed last Friday.

Lincoln Police confirmed that Washington was located late Tuesday night but no other additional details have been released.

In early January, Huskers football coach Scott Frost released Washington from the team after he was indefinitely removed from the team three months prior. He entered the transfer portal in January but has yet to land at a new school.

According to the Omaha World-Herald, Washington was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years of probation back in March after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges. The California native faced jail time in the Santa Clara County Jail due to child pornography charges.

The prosecutors later dropped the charge in exchange for a no-contest plea.
