Lifestyle and General Interest Profile: Logan Skrabal is a lifelong fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, growing up in the Omaha and Lincoln areas. He takes pride in his school, his academics, and his membership in the Cornhusker Marching Band at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Sports have always been one of Skrabal’s passions, especially Nebraska football and the NBA. His favorite team in the NBA is the Miami Heat, and his favorite player is Dwyane Wade. Skrabal often escapes the rigors of school by playing NBA 2K20 or hanging out with his family, with whom he takes many vacations, including to the Bahamas, France, England and Italy.
Four-Year Season Recap: Logan Skrabal started as a freshman at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the fall of 2016, declaring as an advertising and public relations major soon thereafter. He auditioned into the Cornhusker Marching Band, where he has remained for four years. As a sophomore, Skrabal declared a second major in sports media and communication, making him a double major. As a junior, Skrabal earned a position as a rank leader in the marching band, retaining that position through his senior season in 2019. Skrabal has maintained high academic standing while at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, maintaining good standing in the University Honors Program. He is currently completing an undergraduate thesis pertaining to the relationship between social media and mental health. Skrabal is on track to graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Journalism.
