6’2 outside hitter Whitney Lauenstein shuts down Janaisya Moore’s swing making the score 23-20 for the Huskers assisting them to a win in the first set.

Bekka Allick and Maggie Mendelson celebrate after Defensive Specialist Sara Sue Morbitzer serves it long in the deep court giving the Huskers their first set win by default. The set was close for the Huskers with at 25-22.

Ally Batenhorst tips the ball from the outside tooling off the block into Mac Podraza’s right hand leading the ball to go out of bounds in the last few points of the 2nd set. This would be Batehort’s first kill since their game agaist the Creighton Bluejays on September 7th.

Kaitlyn Hord and teamates wait for the refs call on whether Whitney Lauenstiens attempt was in or out of bounds. Lauenstiens hit was just in on the left side just a few feet away from the 10 foot line making the score 20-23 giving the huskers the advantage to come back in the second set.

Madi Kubik waits for a serve from Ohio States Gabby Gonzales in the near end of the 4th set. Kubik had the team high of 16 kills, 5 blocks, and 9 digs shining her role of a star all around player.
