Four-Year Season Recap: Zach Markon is from Minnesota, though he now lives full-time in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he is finishing his final year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Having graduated from high school in 2015, he opted to take a gap year before enrolling full-time at UNL starting in the Fall 2016 semester. He will graduate in May 2020 with his Bachelor of Journalism degree. While at UNL, Zach has pursued two majors — Broadcast Production and Sports Media & Communication. Along with those majors, Zach will graduate with minors in Political Science and Theatre. His career focus is in sports broadcast production, where he specializes in video and graphic production. Post-graduation, Zach hopes to find a job somewhere on the east coast or possibly in Chicago, working on sports video production in a university athletic department.
